Terms & Conditions Good Heavens Dark Sky Experiences and Packages

Stargazing Experiences

• Full payment of the Experience is required at time of booking.
  Upon payment, the client agrees to and accepts Good Heavens’ Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policy, as outlined below.
• Tour participants accept that Good Heavens are unable to guarantee full clarity, ideal skies or visibility of certain objects. Experiences operate in a marine environment where the weather can change rapidly.
• Where the Experience is cancelled by Good Heavens the option of postponement to a later date or a full refund will be given.
• Experiences may be subject to a partial refund if only part of the Experience could be completed and no alternative date is available. Partial refunds are at Good Heavens’ discretion.
• Periodically, Experiences may be subject to partial cloud cover for some or the entire Experience, or to full cloud cover for some of the Experience. In this event we will continue the tour using the sky which is visible and/or available.
• Good Heavens reserves the right to cancel or change the duration and/or location of the Experience in response to weather or environmental conditions.
• If you have any questions regarding the likely format of the Experience and/or weather, please contact us prior to the tour departure.
• Participants are to arrive at the time and location stated on the confirmation email. Experiences start on time and arriving late disturbs other participants and means participants miss out on a portion of the tour. If there is any reason for the time and/or location to change, Good Heavens will contact participants in advance of the Experience.
• Any person who is unwell, especially with Covid-19 symptoms, must contact Good Heavens immediately via email or phone and refrain from joining the tour.
• Translators may only operate on private Experiences.
• All tours are non-smoking, this includes vapes. Alcoholic beverages are only allowed during private Experiences
• Participants are informed that participation in group photos is purely voluntary, as these images may be made publicly available through Good Heaven’s website and/or social media pages.

Stargazing Experiences Cancellation Policy

• In the event of rain or poor weather conditions, Experiences may be cancelled or postponed by Good Heavens. In the event of a cancellation, a full refund will be issued.
• If clients cancel their Stargazing Experience booking more than 4 days prior to the date of the Experience, they will be reimbursed the full tour fee. For Packages, separate cancellation clauses apply, see below.
• If clients cancel their booking less than four days prior to the date of the Experience, Good Heavens cannot issue a refund.
• Refunds will be processed within ten working days whenever possible and will, where possible, be made in the same form as payment was taken.
• If clients made the booking for their Experience through a booking/travel agent or any other third party, the cancellation policy will follow the agent’s regulation. It is then the clients’s responsibility to approach the agent directly for a refund.
• If clients wish to forego the Experience due to weather, we will endeavour to book them on a suitable alternative tour within 1 year from the original date of the Experience.

Stargazing Packages Terms and Conditions

In addition to the above, the following terms and conditions are applicable to Stargazing Packages

• Full payment of your package is required at time of booking. Upon payment, you agree to and accept Good Heavens’ Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policy, as outlined below.
• Payment for your package less a 10% admin fee, is refundable for 30 days or 30 days prior to the first travel date, whichever is sooner.
• For our packages, we work together with other operators. As such we are bound by their terms and conditions as follows:

• Where the stargazing component of the package is cancelled by Good Heavens due to the weather conditions or other reasons out of our control, either prior to or during the package, a full refund of the stargazing component will be given. The remaining package components will remain in place and will not be refunded.
• Please be aware that, apart from the stargazing component, your package is not subject to partial refunds or discounts for any reason, including the weather (see Cancellation Policy below)

Package Cancellation Policy

• In the event of rain or poor weather conditions, your stargazing experience may be cancelled by Good Heavens. A full refund of the stargazing component will be issued. All other components of your package are subject to their own terms and conditions as detailed in the links above.
• If you made your package booking through a booking/travel agent or any other third party for your tour, the cancellation policy will follow the agent’s regulation. It is then your responsibility to approach them directly for a refund.
• In case of cancellation, your package payments are refundable for 30 days less a 10% admin fee, or 30 days prior to the first travel date, whichever is sooner. You may wish to take out travel insurance.
• Should your accommodation not be available due to extenuating circumstances like emergency repairs or major damage, we will help finding alternative accommodation.
